I've really been enjoying the coverage of the 2014 Winter Games in Sochi. At this point, my favorite events have been the Slopestyle Snowboarding, the Figure Skating, and the Luge. The athletes have been very impressive and it's amazing to me to know that this year's Olympic torch can be seen from space. I'll be sad to see the closing ceremonies in 2 weeks. Of course, with all of the snow that we've been getting here in NY (and more on the way), I've had the chance to engage in a few winter sports of my own: Ice Wobbling, Snowman-Building (like the one in the photograph to the right of this text), and, an activity at which I excel, Freestyle Shoveling.
Aside from watching the Olympic Games, I made a visit this past weekend to the Nassau County Museum of Art to view an exhibit of some of the psychedelic pop art of Peter Max. This work is eye-catching and colorful; I like it a lot. Very inspiring. Wishing you a Happy Valentine's Day tomorrow! Have a wonderful day of love! Cheers!
